Yarr! I'm a pirate, a musician and a superhero all rolled into one... pity I'm ugly as sin! But that begs to question, how ugly is sin? Is sin ugly or is that how we just perceive it because sin is something bad according to the church, but in that case bad things always take the form of temptation or something pleasing to the eye... so in that sense is sin not something beautiful... Think about it...

Hmm id say that the uglyness of sin is that of wich is hidden think, something seems beautiful in the form of sin but thats deception after the sin is committed if the sinning patron thinks about what he/she has done they might see that the sin wasnt as good as preveously thought but,the "good guys" can do more damge to the world than the people that you think of as sinners example:When you see someone dirty you form an opinoin of them whether its consiouce or not you might think that they probably deserved their condition. When you see someone clean you form an opinion about them you might think that they must be good people but the exact opposite could be true.I think everyone here knows that but,If sin isnt ugly then is Good deeds ugly?

exactly... it reminds me of the phrase in the lord of the rings
"I think an agent of the enemy would look fairer and feel fouler"

well there you go... the quote is in there... so I'm still in the firm belief that sin would appear beautiful from the outside

I dunno... I was just being odd in making the comparison between physical beauty and a clean conscience... the whole phrase as ugly as sin... and all that jazz

So I'm still curious... is sin ugly? In neither the physical or metaphorical sense... possibly the metaphysical sense? If people get what I mean, this could spark an interesting debate...
